How the Job Runs

Duct cleaning goes wrong in predictable ways: debris blown back into rooms, damage to registers and drywall, and no way for the customer to tell what was actually done. The sequence is built around those three risks.

Where We Stop
When Cleaning Is Not the Answer
Sometimes the crew opens a system and finds a problem cleaning will not solve: a disconnected flex run, torn duct insulation, damaged duct board, standing water at the condensate line, or an unsafe electrical condition near the air handler. Cleaning through any of that is malpractice.
Two things we do not do. If we find active moisture or suspect mould beyond surface dust, we stop, document it, and tell you to bring in a licensed mould assessor — remediation in Texas is a separately licensed trade, and duct cleaning is not a substitute for fixing the water source. The same applies to suspected asbestos in older duct insulation or tape: work stops and a licensed abatement contractor takes over. We also do not sell fogging as a fix; if your goal is fewer allergens, whole-home filtration or a UV install does more than any spray.
For everything within our scope, being one company matters. A cleaning that uncovers a collapsed flex section does not mean starting over with a new contractor — duct repair and replacement are handled by the same team that did the inspection, and you approve any change in scope first.

Rodents and other animals getting into attics and duct runs is common on rural properties. If anything is still living in there, call a wildlife or pest specialist first — we do not remove live animals. Once it is clear, we remove nesting material and debris, and if the duct has been chewed or torn, our team repairs or replaces that section rather than sending you to another contractor.
Do you sanitise or fog the ducts?
We do not sell fogging as a standalone fix. Spraying a treatment through a duct system does not address why something is growing, and if moisture is feeding it the problem returns. If there is an odour, the useful work is finding the source, usually the air handler, the condensate line, or a building envelope issue. Once that is fixed, cleaning works.
