How the Job Runs
Inspect, Isolate, Clean, Verify
Duct cleaning goes wrong in predictable ways: debris blown back into rooms, damage to registers and drywall, and no way for the customer to tell what was actually done. The sequence is built around those three risks.

Where We Stop
When Cleaning Is Not the Answer
Sometimes the crew opens a system and finds a problem cleaning will not solve: a disconnected flex run, torn duct insulation, damaged duct board, standing water at the condensate line, or an unsafe electrical condition near the air handler. Cleaning through any of that is malpractice.
Two things we do not do. If we find active moisture or suspect mould beyond surface dust, we stop, document it, and tell you to bring in a licensed mould assessor — remediation in Texas is a separately licensed trade and duct cleaning is not a substitute for fixing the water source. The same applies to suspected asbestos in older duct insulation or tape: work stops and a licensed abatement contractor takes over. Nobody should be brushing through either.
For everything within our scope, being one company matters. A cleaning that uncovers a collapsed flex section does not mean starting over with a new contractor — duct repair and replacement are handled by the same team that did the inspection, and you approve any change in scope first.

I found something that looks like mould in a vent. Can you clean it?
Not as a mould job. In Texas, mould remediation is a licensed trade with its own rules, and we do not hold ourselves out as remediators. What we will do is inspect, and if we find active moisture or growth beyond surface dust we stop, document it with photographs, and tell you to bring in a licensed mould assessor. Cleaning ducts while a water source is still active achieves nothing — it comes back. Once the moisture is fixed, we can clean.
My place is a weekend cabin. Does that change anything?
It changes the wear pattern rather than the method. A system that sits idle for weeks then runs hard for a weekend tends to accumulate differently from one running year-round, and long idle periods in a humid environment are worth an inspection of the air handler and condensate area. Scheduling matters more: tell us your occupancy pattern and we will fit the work into an empty stretch rather than a changeover scramble.
My driveway is steep and narrow. Is that a problem?
It is common around the lake and it is not a problem, but it is worth mentioning when you call. Equipment and hose runs need to reach the property, and knowing about a long gravel drive, a tight turnaround or a gated entrance in advance means the crew arrives set up for it and the quote reflects the real job.
